A supercentenarian is a person who lived until or past their 110th birthday. About 1 in 1000 of centenarians are 110+, so it's a rare achievement in longevity. A supercentenarian, on their 110th birthday, would have lived around 40,175 days and when a supercentenarian turns 114 years, 28 days old then he/she would have lived about one million hours of life. A study says the USA, Japan, France, Italy UK and are the top 5 countries with the most supercentenarians. There are estimated to be 330–350 living supercentenarians in the world. There are 314 GRG-validated living supercentenarians (as of 12 March 2025), of whom 291 are female and 23 are male. The current oldest validated living woman (and person) is Inah Canabarro Lucas, aged 116 of Brazil, and the oldest validated living man is Joao Marinho Neto, aged 112 of Brazil.
